1. Stay in touch with your Sphere Of Influence (Income). Put your SOI into 20 lists and put each list on your calendar for each business day of the year. Reach out and nurture your relationships via phone, video text or hand written note. It needs to be something personal to them because remember, they are the ones that CHOSE to be your friend, or they're the FAMILY who loves you and sent you referrals. 2. Think CAREER, not YEAR. It's all about the LONG game. Just like surfing, counter balance is the secret. The waves of prosperity shift and sometimes it's to your benefit, and sometimes it's not. But expect the shifts - plan financially and emotionally for the waves, and keep looking forward. Keep your eyes focused on those goals and not down at your feet. Keep your balance and never stop doing the little things that got you to where you are now!
3. Be Knowledgable! Know what's going on in your industry - your market. Experts love to share their insight into trends and most likely, you have a strong competitor that knows some things you don't. Stay in good standing with those you respect in the industry because you can learn and exchange ideas about your personal experience in the market and how you may need to alter what you're doing to stay ahead of the trend. Secondly, READ READ READ! Find the BEST sources of information on what is affecting your marketplace, both generally and in detail. Then share your findings with your SOI and your PROSPECTS!
